"Negreira Case" - Real submits documents against Barça to UEFA
With the documents, the "Royals" aim to assist UEFA in its investigation.
Since 2023, UEFA has been investigating the so-called "Negreira case".
FC Barcelona is accused of having made several payments to José María Enríquez Negreira between 2001 and 2018. Negreira was Vice-President of the Spanish Referees' Committee between 1993 and 2018.
Now, Barça's arch-rival Real Madrid has also joined the investigation. The "Royals" have submitted extensive documents to UEFA, which are intended to support the investigation. According to Real, the documents contain "evidence of incidents of extraordinary severity."
