Red Bull Must Do Without Hadjar in Monza Too!
The young Frenchman misses the traditional race in Italy due to his wrist injury.
Isack Hadjar's comeback remains on hold!
The Red Bull driver is currently suffering from a hand injury and will therefore miss this weekend's Formula 1 race in Monza. His team confirmed this on Wednesday.
"Liam will start alongside Max at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, while Isack continues to make encouraging progress following the wrist injury he sustained during the summer break," the statement read.
Good Result for Lawson
The young Frenchman already had to take a break in Zandvoort two weeks ago. Liam Lawson replaced the 21-year-old there and secured seventh place. Lawson, the regular Racing Bulls driver, will also take Hadjar's seat in Monza.
Meanwhile, at the sister team, reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda will be back in action.
When Hadjar can get back in the car himself is still open. "The team is closely monitoring his rehabilitation and will not take any unnecessary risks upon his return to competition. We wish him a speedy recovery," said Red Bull Racing.
