WSG Tirol Manager Köck: "We don't just offer first-division playing time"
How does the Wattens club do it? WSG is playing its 8th consecutive season in the Bundesliga. On the Roundtable with Andy Ogris, Stefan Köck explains how the Tyroleans tick:
from Peter Rietzler
For 24 years, Köck has been closely associated with the Wattener Sportgemeinschaft Tirol.
The Innsbruck native - a champion with FC Tirol in 2000 - knows Wattens as a player, coach, and official. WSG is his life's work. His son David Jaunegg also now plays for the Tyroleans in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
On the Roundtable with Andy Ogris - hosted by LAOLA1 Editor-in-Chief Peter Rietzler - Stefan Köck discusses the stadium renovation in Wattens, the squad composition for the new season, and recounts how he once met Andy Ogris as a young professional alongside Thomas Silberberger in the Happel Stadium.
Andy Ogris reveals that he almost became Köck's teammate in Innsbruck once. The former cult player of Wiener Austria also talks about the most important transfers before D-Day in Austria, explains why he tips LASK as champions, and praises the calm and continuous work of "Manager Sport" Stefan Köck and his WSG Tirol in the 198th episode of the LAOLA1 Roundtable presented by ImmoScout24 (Video and Podcast).
