Red Bull Salzburg parts ways with trio of key players
Three deserving players will not receive new contracts. Meanwhile, the future of a countryman has already been decided.
EC Red Bull Salzburg and Tyler Lewington, Troy Bourke, and Travis St. Denis are parting ways.
The "Eisbullen" officially announced this on Tuesday. The Canadian trio will not receive new contracts in Mozartstadt.
Meanwhile, countryman Brandon Coe's move to Slovakia has already been confirmed.
Four departures
Lewington, Bourke, and St. Denis played a significant role in the club's successes in recent seasons.
Defenseman Lewington and forward Bourke arrived in Salzburg in 2022, contributing to the team being crowned Austrian champions three times in four years.
St. Denis had joined from Straubing a year ago, while Coe only moved to Salzburg during the past season.
