Crystal Palace defeated Everton 1-0 yesterday in the Women's Super League.

Four players were substituted at four different points in time. However, generally only three different substitution windows are permitted.

Abbie Larkin (62nd minute), Ashleigh Weerdan (83rd minute), Allyson Swaby (90th minute), and Kirsty Howat (90.+7) shortly before the final whistle, entered the game. The league announced after the match that Palace had "broken" the rules.

The case is being investigated. Possible sanctions range from a mere warning to a points deduction.
