Austria's Cup opponent signs former FAC coach
In the ÖFB Cup, Traiskirchen will face struggling Wiener Austria on Saturday. Following the surprising departure of Thomas Darazs, a new head coach has now been introduced.
Jürgen Halper takes over as coach at FCM Traiskirchen.
After an agreement was reached with former LASK coach Thomas Darazs to terminate their collaboration, Halper has now been introduced.
The Burgenland native and his assistant coach Edvin Alija, who comes from TWL Elektra's U16, will take charge of the regional league team until the winter break.
The 51-year-old last coached SV Donau. In the 2015/16 season, he was employed by FAC.
