One Surprising Omission: This is Sturm's EL Squad

SK Sturm Graz has announced its squad for the UEFA Europa League league phase.

In Fabio Ingolitsch's 25-man squad, three players who are currently still part of the professional team are missing. However, Julian Halwachs, who already gained minutes in the Champions League qualifiers and the cup, moves into the EL selection.

It was foreseeable that players expected to depart, Szymon Wlodarczyk and Niklas Geyrhofer, would not be part of the squad. However, Axel Kayombo is also somewhat surprisingly missing.

Potential Departure

According to LAOLA1 information, a departure of the 20-year-old Frenchman is still quite possible. However, a sale does not necessarily have to happen before the end of the Austrian transfer window. Other countries can still make purchases for longer.

Sturm's squad planning for incoming transfers, however, is complete.
