Sturm Graz Rejected Million-Euro Offer from Italy

According to the Polish medium "Transferey.info", there was further movement. Venezia reportedly submitted a loan offer with an obligation to buy to Graz on deadline day.

The total package would have brought Sturm seven million euros, it is said. However, the vice-champion rejected it.

Agent Not Lamenting Deal

Agent Daniel Weber of "INNfootball agency" confirms interest from Venice on the "Mozeczyki.pl" channel.

"This topic has been ongoing for some time, as there was already interest in this player towards the end of the previous season. (…) To be honest, this is not an offer that is interesting for us. We didn't fight for it because we didn't like the position Venezia saw Filip playing," Weber said, showing little disappointment about the failed deal.

Different Views

Positionally, there were apparently different views. "I believe that he is not a player who can be developed as a winger in European football. They wanted to profile him as a left winger, but we have a different view on his career. The 20-year-old only moved from Cracovia in Poland to Graz in 2025 for a reported two million euros. The four-time Polish international has a market value of 2.8 million euros and a contract until 2029.
