LASK: Is a National Player with CL Experience Coming?
The attacking player played his last UEFA Champions League match in Austria.
LASK is playing in the UEFA Champions League for the first time this season. In the playoff, Celtic Glasgow was eliminated in a sensational comeback.
Now, another attacker could move to the "Steel City" after Sasa Kalajdzic. According to several Scottish media reports, the Austrian double winner is interested in Bojan Miovski (27).
Hardly in Demand Recently
The 41-cap North Macedonia international is currently under contract with Glasgow Rangers. The contract runs until 2029. Reportedly, the Scots are quite willing to let the player go – at least on loan.
He was not even in the squad twice recently, registering just 30 minutes of play in eight matches this season.
Last CL Match in Austria
Yet, the striker even has Champions League experience. In 2024/25, he played for one season at FC Girona, making four appearances for the Catalans in the Champions League.
He recorded his last match there in November 2024 in Klagenfurt against Sturm Graz (1-0 for Sturm).
His market value is currently 2.5 million euros. At LASK, striker Ramiz Harakate is out long-term with a cruciate ligament rupture.
Striker Shortage in Linz?
Samuel Adeniran also has to pause in the coming weeks. With Sasa Kalajdzic, Moses Usor, Christoph Lang, and Krystof Danek, the club only has four nominal strikers in its ranks. Recently, Nael Kane (20) from the amateurs also got to make brief appearances.
As head coach Didi Kühbauer increasingly relies on three attacking players, another transfer could still go through.
