Stefan Hierländer (35) ended his professional career in July while playing for SK Sturm Graz.

He currently works in the coaching staff of Sturm II in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga. Now, the "Kleine Zeitung" links the Carinthian with regional league club Austria Klagenfurt.

President Helmut Kaltenegger reportedly wants to sign experienced former Bundesliga professionals. The midfielder once played for Austria Kärnten.

Kaltenegger "is welcome to get in touch"

The 35-year-old refers to his contractual relationship with Sturm in response to the "Kleine Zeitung".

"But everyone in the football business knows how important a good network is. Since I want to remain in the football business, I want to build my profile accordingly. That is essential in this business. Therefore, I am open to talks or an exchange of ideas," explains Hierländer.

Hierländer confirms there has been no contact with Kaltenegger so far, "but he is welcome to get in touch – I generally listen to everything."
