Official! Austria Wien signs new midfielder
The Violets are active again on the transfer market and secure the services of a new midfielder. The Vorarlberg native was most recently unattached.

What had already been hinted at in recent days, the ADMIRAL Bundesliga club made official on Tuesday: Valentino Müller joins the Violets and signs a contract until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old midfielder was under contract with WSG Tirol until summer but did not extend his deal there and can therefore now move to Wien-Favoriten on a free transfer.
Most recently captain at WSG
From 2021 to 2026, the Vorarlberg native played for the Tyroleans and made 149 competitive appearances. In the last three seasons, he was also captain.
"With Valentino Müller, we gain an experienced and skilled midfielder who can help us immediately. He gives us additional stability in the center and can enrich our game with his qualities. Furthermore, with his experience, he can take on an important role for our young players and support them in their development on and off the pitch," Austria sporting director Tomas Zorn is quoted as saying.
