As the Catalans announced on Thursday, homegrown talent Xavi Espart extends his contract for another two years until 2030.
The 19-year-old Spaniard only made his debut for "Blaugrana" in March this year, and this season he is Hansi Flick's first choice at left-back in the league. In five appearances, he has one goal and two assists.
Espart is versatile, capable of playing in both full-back positions as well as in central midfield. Now, the U21 international is being rewarded with a new contract.
