Real Madrid has found what they were looking for in the Serie A in their search for a right-back.

As announced by the Spanish vice-champion, Denzel Dumfries is joining the team of new coach Jose Mourinho. The Dutch international, who played for "Oranje" at the World Cup, signs a contract in Madrid until June 2030.

The 30-year-old new signing is set to compete with Trent Alexander-Arnold for a starting spot at right-back in the future. Club legend Dani Carvajal is leaving the Madrilenians after 13 years at the club.

Real's Fourth Player Transfer

Dumfries moved from PSV Eindhoven to Milan in the summer of 2021. With the Nerazzurri, the right-footed player has won the Scudetto twice, and the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana three times each.

In total, the Dutchman has made 207 appearances for Inter, scoring 27 goals and assisting 28.

For Real, it is already the fourth new player signing this transfer summer: Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, and Bernardo Silva had previously signed for the Merengues.
