Does former Sturm player face the same fate as Dominik Fitz?

In the summer, Maurice Malone moved from Sturm Graz to Minnesota United in the MLS.

The former Austria Wien player never settled in Graz and was even relegated to Sturm's second team before his move.

Minnesota United then signed the Sturm "flop" for 1.5 million Euros. At the beginning of the season, Malone made brief appearances, up to a maximum of 16 minutes.

No appearance in the last four games

In Minnesota's last four games, Malone was in the squad but was not considered. In attack, there's no getting past the second former Sturm forward Kelvin Yeboah (18 season goals).

Dominik Fitz suffered a similar fate. He also saw little playing time at Minnesota and therefore moved to WAC on loan.

Minnesota are currently four points behind ninth place and a spot in the championship playoffs. With two games remaining, it could be a tight race.
