Heinz Lindner Honored! Koller Also Celebrates Thanks to Ex-LASK Pro
The ÖFB goalkeeper delivered a strong performance, with a former Bundesliga player also contributing.
After an opening defeat against St. Gallen (1:2), FC Zürich, with former ÖFB national team coach Marcel Koller, celebrated three points against Servette Genf (2:1) on Saturday.
ÖFB goalkeeper Heinz Lindner also played a major role in the victory. The custodian is now in the "kicker" Team of the Round.
The 36-year-old actually joined the club as the number two, but due to Silias Huber's absence, he guarded the goal in the first two matches.
Berisha Scored the Opener
Lindner played his last competitive match before these two games in August 2025 for Young Boys Bern, but despite a lack of match practice, he is now showing that he still has what it takes.
Former LASK professional Valon Berisha also contributed to the success; the Kosovan scored the 1-0 in the 35th minute.
