Hedl's Zulte holds St. Gilloise to a draw with Florucz
The second Austrian clash of the season in the Jupiler Pro League ends in a draw.
SV Zulte Waregem secured a draw against the vice-champions.
On the second matchday of the Jupiler Pro League, the two still undefeated teams played out a goalless 0-0 draw.
The first chances of the game were created by the two Austrian internationals, but shots from Tobias Hedl (16') and, at the other end, from Raul Florucz (17') were both blocked. Shortly after, another effort from the ex-Rapid player was too central (19').
In the second half, Florucz had another scoring chance (51').
Hedl Undefeated in Austrian Duels This Season
The hosts enjoyed more of the game with 68 percent possession, but in a match largely devoid of clear-cut chances, neither team managed to be decisive enough.
In the second half, the two Austrians' involvement ended somewhat prematurely: Florucz was substituted in the 63rd minute, and Tobias Hedl also came off eight minutes later.
Hedl thus remains undefeated in the second all-Austrian clash of the season in Belgium: Last week, Zulte defeated KRC Genk 2-1 at home.
