Austrian international Sasa Kalajdzic has been sidelined at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves coach Cesar Peixoto confirmed that Kalajdzic no longer plays a role in his plans >>>

Most recently, the 29-year-old striker was only allowed to train with Wolverhampton's U21 team. The direction is clear: a transfer is being sought.

Negotiations are already underway, as Kalajdzic revealed on Friday in an interview with "Sky": "There are talks with various clubs. Everything has been communicated openly and honestly with Wolves. We will see what happens."

Kalajdzic targets move to top league

The Austrian striker cannot and will not currently disclose which clubs are involved. What he can reveal? That he wants to get "back into those spheres, into those leagues" "where I belong."

"It simply has to be the right fit for me so that I can take the next step in my development again," said Kalajdzic, who has already suffered three cruciate ligament tears in his career.

Last season, the World Cup participant was on loan from Wolverhampton to LASK. With the Linz team, he became Austrian champion and cup winner.
