With the Diomande Millions: Leipzig Plans Transfer Double Swoop
The German Bundesliga club has reportedly agreed terms with a duo from RC Strassburg. Now, transfer fees are being negotiated.
Including easily achievable bonus payments, RB Leipzig will receive around 140 million Euros from the sale of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid.
Enough money to improve the current squad again. According to "Sky", the German Bundesliga club has now verbally agreed a contract with Diego Moreira until 2031. The 22-year-old Belgian is the desired player to succeed Diomande on the wing.
Transfer Fee Too High
Problem? Currently, his club Racing Strassburg is demanding between 60 and 70 million for the Belgian World Cup player. Too much for Leipzig. Whether the Ligue 1 club will lower its demands is still open.
Moreira came from Chelsea to France in summer 2024. In 66 Ligue 1 matches, the winger has scored six goals and provided 14 assists.
Competition for Seiwald on the Horizon?
Furthermore, the "Red Bulls" have also agreed terms with a teammate of Moreira at Strassburg. According to transfer expert "Santi_J_FM", Samir El Mourabet could also move to Leipzig.
The Moroccan international is a central midfielder and could be brought in as a competitor for Austrian international Nicolas Seiwald. However, with a market value of 22 million Euros, the 20-year-old would also be anything but cheap.
The nine-time international has played 33 games (one goal, three assists) in France's top league.
