Instead of El Mala: Is BVB signing the next Greek talent?
Konstantinos Karetsas, a young Greek, has already arrived in Dortmund. Will another follow soon?
In the near future, two Greeks could play for Borussia Dortmund.
The Black and Yellows have already signed a Greek player in Konstantinos Karetsas. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder arrived from KRC Genk for 30 million euros.
For the other position behind the striker, BVB originally wanted to sign Said El Mala. However, the reigning vice-champion recently withdrew from the lengthy negotiation.
Bluffed? BVB withdraws from negotiations for El Mala
As transfer insider Patrick Berger from "Sky" writes, Giannis Konstantelias is now in the sights of Dortmund. Like Karetsas, he is Greek and would be an option for the attacking midfield position. However, the 23-year-old still plays for his youth club PAOK Saloniki.
Konstantelias, who has already played 190 games (44 goals, 26 assists) for PAOK, is said to be only one of two options for BVB in this position.
