Janis Antiste has found a new club
The former Rapid loanee has found a club in Eastern Europe. It is another loan deal.
Janis Antiste is once again being loaned out by Sassuolo.
After an unsuccessful loan spell at SK Rapid, where the Frenchman scored five goals and provided two assists in 40 appearances, Antiste is now heading to Poland.
A Reunion in European Competition?
Reigning Polish Cup winner Gornik Zabrze has secured the services of the 23-year-old for this season. Incidentally, a reunion with the Hütteldorf-based club is possible this season.
Because the club of majority owner Lukas Podolski is still playing for a spot in the UEFA Conference League in the playoff against AS Monaco.
Originally, the Poles had entered the CL qualifiers. There, they were eliminated by Sturm conqueror Fenerbahce, before Gornik also lost out against Ferencvaros in the EL qualifiers.
