An Australian World Cup player is likely to face problems.

As reported by the Australian police, a man was caught by a speed camera in Sydney driving 109 km/h in a 60 km/h zone, and was pulled over two hours later for speeding again.

According to Australian media, this is believed to be national team player Christian Volpato. During the first check, he reportedly got away after passing an alcohol test.

Drug Test Reportedly Caught Him

On the second occasion, a drug test was then conducted, which reportedly came back positive for cocaine. The 22-year-old's driver's license is said to have been revoked for six months.

It is unclear whether the association and club will penalize him. Athletically, the midfielder plays for Sassuolo in Serie A. The national teammate of GAK player Jaco Italiano is currently still on World Cup-related leave.
