Almost 41: Luka Modric makes future decision
The Croatian could become the oldest outfield player in Serie A.
Luka Modric is not ready to hang up his boots, even at almost 41 years old.
The Croatian has extended his contract with AC Milan for another year until 2027. This could also make him the oldest outfield player in Serie A.
Could Equal Ibrahimovic's Record
The current record is held by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was 41 years and five months old in his last game. Modric celebrates his 41st birthday on September 9.
Overall, the oldest player was Marco Ballotta. The former Lazio goalkeeper was over 44 years old in his last game.
Modric only moved to the fashion capital last summer after 13 years at Real Madrid. Last season, he made 37 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
