Will an ex-Blau-Weiß goalie be Stuttgart's new No. 1?

Following Dennis Seimen's muscle injury, VfB Stuttgart is once again, for better or worse, looking for a goalkeeper. The designated number one will be out until mid-September.
According to "Bild", they are considering a man who is well-known in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. Radek Vitek (22) from Manchester United is, according to "Bild", a topic of discussion at VfB.

The Czech spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Blau-Weiß Linz, playing a significant part in them reaching the championship group.
The goalkeeper impressed last season as a loanee at Bristol City, where he initially played under Gerhard Struber. Vitek has so far been participating in pre-season training with Manchester United's first team.
Unattached Goalkeepers as Alternatives
According to "Bild", a loan could be an option. A permanent transfer could be expensive. According to a "Daily Mail" report, United would be open to negotiations for offers around 15 million pounds (approx. 17.5 million euros).
Vitek has a market value of six million euros. According to "Bild", unattached goalkeepers Stefan Ortega (33) and Orjan Nyland (35) are also being considered. The latter gained attention as Norway's goalkeeper at the World Cup.
