According to "Bild", defender Maximilian Wöber is moving from Leeds United to Gelsenkirchen.
Last season, the Viennese player was on loan at Werder Bremen but missed almost the entire season due to injury.
Third Club in Germany
Wöber will receive a performance-based contract at the club of Tyrolean head coach Miron Muslic. The defender actually still had one year left on his contract with Leeds United.
He moved there in January 2023 from FC Red Bull Salzburg. Before his time at Werder, he spent the 2023/24 season as a loaned player at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the German Bundesliga.
