Marcel Sabitzer to Serie A: What's holding up the deal
The Austrian only has one year left on his contract in Dortmund. Bologna is showing interest, but there seems to be a problem.

However, according to "Gazzetta dello Sport", the deal is proving anything but simple. Accordingly, Sabitzer's agents have held talks with the club, but expectations regarding salary are said to differ.
Swiss instead of Austrian Star?
According to the report, Sabitzer earns around four million euros net per year at BVB. Such a sum is not affordable for the Italians. Currently, a transfer seems rather unlikely.
Instead, Bologna could extend with Remo Freuler (34). The Swiss player's contract expired at the end of June.
