Maximilian Ullmann (30) followed Gerald Scheiblehner to Grasshoppers Zurich in Switzerland in November 2025. However, under former Salzburg coach Peter Zeidler, he was recently dropped from the squad >>>

Accordingly, the Upper Austrian will likely have to look for a new club. The former Bundesliga player (LASK, Rapid, and WAC) could sign in Austria again.

Return of out-of-contract players possible

As reported by the "Tiroler Tageszeitung," Ullmann is a candidate for WSG Tirol. Ullmann played one international match for Austria in 2022. The Wattens club is reportedly open to making further transfers.

Even a return of the out-of-contract players Valentino Müller, Matthäus Taferner, and Johannes Naschberger is conceivable. All three played the past season with WSG and let their contracts expire. They are currently still looking for a club.
