Swiss International Becomes Teammate of Puczka and Havel
Genoa continues to strengthen for the upcoming season. In addition to the transfers of the Austrian players, a 56-cap international is now also likely to join.
CFC Genoa is likely to strengthen its midfield with Djibril Sow.
The 56-cap Swiss international, who played four matches at the World Cup, comes from LaLiga club FC Sevilla.
"The clubs have also agreed. The transfer will take place," says Sow's agent José Noguera to Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg.
The medical check and contract signing for the 29-year-old midfielder are expected to take place shortly. Coach Daniele De Rossi is said to have pushed hard for the signing of the experienced midfielder.
Since this summer, Elias Havel and David Puczka have also been under contract at Genoa. Additionally, returning loanee Franz Stolz is also involved with the Italians.
