Double Transfer Swoop: Como gears up for the Champions League
Como 1907 is set to make its Champions League debut this season. The club is active in the transfer market.
Como finished fourth in Serie A last season, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.
To be able to compete in Europe's elite competition, coach Cesc Fabregas demanded new signings. The club already re-signed Argentinian Nico Paz from Real Madrid for 66 million Euros in June.
Now, the transfers of Yan Couto and Trevoh Chalobah are reportedly imminent.
Italian Transfer Offensive
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chalobah is expected to join from FC Chelsea for around 30 million Euros. Couto from Dortmund is said to be a loan deal for two million Euros, with the Italians also having a purchase option of 20 million Euros.
Austrian international Stefan Posch has also returned to Como after his loan spell at FSV Mainz 05. His future remains unclear.
Mainz wants to sign the 29-year-old permanently.
