Massimiliano Allegri has found a new club.
SSC Napoli introduces the 58-year-old as their new coach. The Italian signs a contract with "Gli Azzurri" until June 2029.
Allegri takes over from Conte
In Naples, Allegri follows Antonio Conte, who announced his departure after two seasons at SSC. In his first year, the former Chelsea coach won the Scudetto, and last season Napoli became runner-up behind Inter Milan.
Allegri had to pack his bags after the end of the season at AC Milan. On the final matchday, the "Rossoneri" squandered a Champions League spot with a 1-2 home defeat against Cagliari.
In addition to the coach, almost the entire leadership also had to leave. Ruben Amorim has since been appointed as Allegri's successor.
