AC Fiorentina signs Ivorian World Cup player
Just a year ago, the midfield talent played in Ligue 2; now, the World Cup participant becomes AC Fiorentina's second most expensive transfer.
AC Fiorentina is significantly strengthening its squad after a disappointing season.
Following Arthur Atta (€25 million), Viery (€15 million), Giovanni Fabbian (€13 million), Marco Brescianini (€10 million), and the loans of Radu Dragusin and Alex Jimenez, Fiorentina has now signed Christ Inao Oulaï from Trabzonspor for €26 million.
Additionally, up to €4 million can be added through bonus payments. Furthermore, the Turkish club is also expected to have secured a ten percent share of any future transfer profit.
Market Value Increase
Just last summer, the 20-year-old moved from SC Bastia to Turkey for €9.6 million. At that time, the Ivorian had a market value of €600,000.
In the Süper Lig, Oulaï made 25 appearances and was involved in six goals (2 goals, 4 assists). Thanks to this strong season, his market value soared to €23 million within a year. The 20-year-old was also nominated for the Ivorian World Cup squad.
At the World Cup, the midfielder featured in all four matches and even started twice.
