Arsenal Misses Out
The 23-year-old attacking player is expected to undergo mandatory medical examinations with the "Blues" after his return from America and then sign a contract until 2032. A verbal agreement is reportedly already in place between all parties.
Rogers was also long on the list of Arsenal FC. Now, their city rival, led by new coach Xabi Alonso, has won the race. The Englishman recorded 14 goals and eleven assists in 55 games for Aston Villa last season.
At Chelsea, he now replaces Enzo Fernandez as the record transfer. The Argentinian arrived in January 2023 for 121 million euros.
