Adi Hütter can be pleased with the signing of Noel Aseko.

As Eintracht Frankfurt announced on Saturday, the FC Bayern Munich talent signs a contract with the Hessians until 2031.

The transfer of the 20-year-old German was not cheap: According to consistent media reports, the Frankfurt club paid a transfer fee of 12 million euros.

Aseko now also ranks among the top 10 most expensive new signings in SGE history.

Frankfurt presented Aseko with a "clear plan"

Aseko is happy about the transfer: "It means a lot to me to be here. The discussions with the officials were very open and respectful from the beginning, and a clear plan for my further development was presented to me."

Aseko is 1.78 meters tall and plays in defensive midfield. He was trained in the youth academy of Hertha BSC before he moved to the youth department of FC Bayern in 2022.

Most recently active for Hannover 96

He spent the past year and a half in the 2. Bundesliga with Hannover 96 – initially on loan, then he was permanently signed by H96. However, FC Bayern bought Aseko back this summer for 2.5 million euros.

In the 2. Bundesliga, Aseko scored three goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances. He has never played in the 1. Bundesliga.

Good attacking impetus, strong anticipation skills

Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche says: "Noel Aseko was already part of the extended squad of Bayern professionals two years ago for good reasons. In the meantime, he has impressively demonstrated in Hannover, in a physically demanding league, that he also possesses the physical prerequisites for the next step."

"Furthermore, for his position, he is characterized by a healthy attacking drive as well as an exceptional ability to anticipate. We are convinced that Noel can fully develop his strengths with our coaching team and in our sporting environment in the Bundesliga as well," Krösche added.
