Now, Frankfurt is also said to have reached a verbal agreement with Raphael Onyedika.

Already a Transfer Target

Last summer, Eintracht had already shown interest in the defensive midfielder from Club Brugge, but the transfer did not materialize.

This summer, SGE is launching another transfer offensive and, according to "Bild", has already agreed on a contract with the 25-year-old until 2031.

Transfer Fee at 10 Million Euros?

Furthermore, the Hessen club has already submitted an offer between 8 and 10 million euros to the Belgians.

However, Brugge is reportedly demanding at least 10 million in transfer fees, according to "HLN". The Nigerian, according to "transfermarkt.at", has a market value of 23 million euros, but is only tied to the Belgians until summer 2027.

Leverkusen Captain as Backup

Robert Andrich would also be an option for the Hessen club. The German international would also play in defensive midfield and, according to "Bild", would be an alternative to Onyedika should Frankfurt and Brugge fail to agree.
