Inter Milan celebrates a clear 3-0 victory against Parma Calcio on the sixth matchday of Serie A.

A lightning start with goals from Petar Sucic (13th minute), Hakan Calhanoglu from the penalty spot (19th minute), and Marcus Thuram (31st minute) decided the match early. The hosts thus underlined their ambitions at the top of the table, while the visitors suffered a severe setback.

Everything clear after 31 minutes

Chivu's XI dominated proceedings from the start at will.

Shortly after Sucic's early lead, referee Kevin Bonacina pointed to the spot after an action by Diego Carlos, and Calhanoglu converted clinically. Thuram secured the pre-decision before the half-time whistle after an assist from Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Inter temporarily back at the top of the table

After the change of ends, Inter eased off but effortlessly controlled the game with 60 percent possession and 19:8 shots on goal.

Gilardino's squad remained lackluster and, despite the attempts of substitute El Bilal Toure over the full distance, registered only two harmless shots.

Inter Milan temporarily pulls away from AS Roma and Lazio Rome, holding a three-point lead over the clubs from Italy's capital. Both are only in action on Sunday.

Austrians celebrate first season win with Genoa

The "Austrian club" CFC Genoa celebrates its first season win in the sixth round.

David Puczka was subbed in from the 81st minute in the 2-1 home victory against Fiorentina, goalkeeper Franz Stolz was on the bench, Elias Havel was not in the squad.
