On the 6th matchday of the Premier League, FC Arsenal beat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta's side was clearly the better team over 90 minutes. In the 21st minute, Havertz had a chance to put the "Gunners" ahead, but Trafford saved his header.

After the break, Leeds started the second half better. Justin unleashed a shot from a tight angle, about ten meters out, hammering the ball into the top left corner to make it 1-0 (55th minute).

Arsenal responds immediately

After a cross from Madueke, White played the ball back into the middle from the far post. Calafiori was lurking there and had no trouble putting the ball into the net from eight meters out (62nd minute).

Eight minutes later, Guimaraes scored the winning goal. After a beautiful combination, Rice backheeled the ball to the Brazilian, who smashed it into the bottom left corner from the edge of the box to make it 2-1 (70th minute).

Arsenal subsequently had further chances through Ödegaard to make the result clearer, but failed to secure an early decision. Nevertheless, the score remained 2-1.

The Londoners are now second with 15 points, while Leeds remains temporarily in fifth place.
