Süle was plagued by injuries repeatedly throughout his career. He started his career at TSG Hoffenheim before moving to FC Bayern München for 20 million euros in the summer of 2017. Süle played 171 games for the German record champions.

In the summer of 2022, he moved to "Black and Yellow" on a free transfer. The center-back made a total of 110 appearances for the club of the two ÖFB internationals Marcel Sabitzer and Carney Chukwuemeka. He played 49 times for the DFB team.

Now Süle will continue in amateur football: "After 13 years of professional football, it's an absolute gift for me to be able to stand on the pitch with my mates and once again fully enjoy the pleasure of this wonderful sport."
