According to a media report, the young forward is on the verge of a loan move within the German Bundesliga.
Red Bull Salzburg loses the race for youngster Deniz Zeitler!
According to "Sky", the 19-year-old winger is on the verge of a move to SC Paderborn. The Bundesliga promoted club is reportedly loaning the youngster for one season from TSG Hoffenheim. There is said to be no purchase option.
Paderborn is reportedly paying a loan fee of 750,000 euros for the German.
For a long time, the "Bulls" were also in the running for TSG's attacking talent. However, the club from Mozart's city was pushing for a permanent transfer.
Good Goal-Scoring Record
Zeitler is considered a great talent. The two-footed left winger particularly impresses with his speed and also demonstrated his goal-scoring ability last season.
After moving from Ingolstadt to Hoffenheim in summer 2025, he became the top scorer for Hoffenheim II in the 3. Liga (15 goals in 38 games).
However, he has (as yet) been denied a professional appearance under head coach Christian Ilzer.
