VfB Stuttgart has likely finalized its desired summer transfer!

As "Bild" and "kicker" consistently report, Dženan Pejčinović is moving from VfL Wolfsburg back to the German Bundesliga.

After almost six weeks of negotiations, the deal is now in the final stretch. A transfer fee of around 25 million euros, including bonuses, will be paid for the 21-year-old striker.

Final Details Pending

VfL Managing Director Dieter Hecking stated after Wolfsburg's 0-0 draw in the 2. Bundesliga opener against Kaiserslautern that an agreement had been reached with a club. However, he did not name the specific club.

The transfer is not yet completely finalized, with the last details expected to be clarified on Sunday.

Pejčinović moved from Augsburg to Wolfsburg in 2022 for just over one million euros. However, the German player only made his breakthrough last season, scoring twelve goals in 34 competitive matches.
