Austrian U21 International Set to Join Pentz's Club
The full-back is set to leave Stuttgart. He is likely heading to Denmark.
For weeks, rumors have been circulating about Christopher Olivier's departure from VfB Stuttgart.
The 20-year-old Austrian was allowed to train with the first team under Sebastian Hoeneß during pre-season and recently scored in the test victory against Kickers Offenbach.
Transfer Imminent
Nevertheless, he will not remain with the German Bundesliga club. As "Sky" now reports, the U21 international is set to move to Brøndby IF. "Tipsbladet" also reports an agreement.
According to reports, the club of Austrian national goalkeeper Patrick Pentz is paying a transfer fee of one million euros. Stuttgart is also said to have secured a buy-back option between five and 7.5 million euros.
Medical Check on Monday
The youngster is reportedly set to sign a contract until 2030 as early as Monday.
Olivier moved from the Vorarlberg Academy to Stuttgart in summer 2022. There, he progressed through the youth teams and has so far made 47 appearances for the reserve team in the third German league.
In Denmark, he now wants to take the next step in his development.
