Confirmed: Andreas Schicker secures record transfer at Hoffenheim!
An offensive player from the Sinsheim-based club moves to the Premier League, becoming the club's new record transfer.
The transfer coup is official.
Bazoumana Touré is leaving TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the Premier League. Newcastle United is reportedly paying 50 million Euros for the Ivorian, who arrived from Hammarby for 10 million Euros a year and a half ago.
Sporting Director Andreas Schicker has thus overseen a new record departure for Hoffenheim: Previously, former Rapid player Joelinton was the most expensive sale at 43.5 million Euros – he also, incidentally, went to Newcastle.
At the "Magpies," the lightning-fast winger signs a "long-term" contract. Last season, he recorded five goals and twelve goal contributions in 30 Bundesliga matches.
