Fit for Atletico? All-clear for Bayern top star
After Michael Olise's injury-forced substitution in the "Klassiker", there's an all-clear. However, whether the Bayern star can play in Madrid is still open.
Relief for FC Bayern!
After star player Michael Olise had to be substituted in the closing stages of the "Klassiker" against BVB due to injury, there's now an all-clear just before the UEFA Champions League away match against Atletico Madrid (Tuesday, 21:00 in the LIVE ticker>>>).
Olise Completes Team Training
As the German record champions announced on Monday, the 24-year-old was able to participate in the final training session before departing for Madrid.
The fear of a more serious injury has thus not been confirmed.
However, whether Olise will actually be on the pitch against Atletico remains highly questionable – Olise's right knee was heavily bandaged.
Game-changer for Bayern
Nevertheless, the Munich team can realistically hope for a brief appearance from their game-changer. Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry, who also had to be substituted due to injury against BVB, will be out for a longer period.
Manuel Neuer's availability is also questionable.
Across all competitions this season, the Frenchman has tallied twelve goals and six assists in 13 appearances.
