Schicker could set spending record with new winger
Hoffenheim sports director Andreas Schicker is looking to the Netherlands for a replacement for the departed Toure.
Following the departure of Bazoumana Toure to Newcastle for a record fee of 50 million Euros, Andreas Schicker is looking for a new winger.
According to the Dutch newspaper "Algemeen Dagblad", Feyenoord talent Leo Sauer is the focus of the Kraichgau side.
Market Value of Seven Million Euros
Discussions with the Slovakian are reportedly already well advanced.
The 20-year-old is currently valued at seven million Euros. However, the requested transfer fee is expected to be higher.
Sauer Could Break Spending Record
Hoffenheim has already invested around 55 million Euros this summer for its six new signings.
Should Leo Sauer also be signed, the club would set a new spending record.
