Bayern Nostalgia: Lewandowski and Müller Celebrate Reunion
The two played for eight years for the German record champion. On Thursday, they were supposed to face each other on the field in the MLS. But things turned out differently.
Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski are winding down their careers in the twilight of their professional lives in the US Major League Soccer.
After the summer break, the two Bayern legends were supposed to meet on the very first matchday. However, due to poor air quality resulting from wildfires in the Chicago region, the duel was cancelled at short notice.

Nevertheless, the two former teammates did not have to forgo a reunion. Müller and Lewandowski published a joint photo on Instagram.
Lewandowski commented on the post with a wink: "What a game today. Good to see you."
Müller also couldn't resist a quip, writing: "The boys are back in town."
