€30m fee: Leverkusen finds Grimaldo successor
Leverkusen is set to sign a new left-back. He would be the fifth most expensive transfer in the club's history.
Bayer Leverkusen is set to sign Miguel Gutiérrez from SSC Napoli.
The 25-year-old left-back will move for €30 million including bonuses and sign a contract until 2031, according to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg.
The medical check is scheduled for early next week, and the transfer is expected to be officially announced.
Gutiérrez, who joined Serie A from Girona in 2025, was the absolute top target for new coach Carles Martínez. Last season, he made 28 appearances for Napoli.
