Taferner? Müller? GAK Seeks Austrian Reinforcements
Grazer AK is determined to make further additions in the transfer market. An Austrian solution is desired.
GAK has had a false start to the new ADMIRAL Bundesliga season. They suffered a clear 0-3 defeat against champions LASK in their opening match.

Adding to the difficulties in Linz, GAK coach Ferdinand Feldhofer had to forgo foreign players like Ismael Guerti or Ludwig Vraa in the squad due to the Austrian player quota.
Therefore, further transfers are desired, preferably Austrian players. In an interview with the "Kleine Zeitung", GAK assistant coach Andreas Lienhart mentions the names of Matthäus Taferner and Valentino Müller.
Taferner and Müller "Are Speculating About Moving Abroad"
Both are still without a club after their contracts with WSG Tirol ended. With their experience in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, they would likely be immediate reinforcements for GAK. However, "they are speculating about moving abroad," says Lienhart.
It's clear that GAK is primarily looking at free agents in their search for new players. Loans are also not ruled out. "But the best case scenario is players we own. Economically, this is the most optimal solution for the club," says Lienhart.
