Promoted side Austria Lustenau will face SV Ried on Sunday in the first round of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga (from 5:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
Both clubs were able to prevail in the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup. While the Vorarlbergers struggled to win 1-0 against Kremser SC, Ried celebrated a commanding 5-1 victory in Dornbirn.
Last season's promoted team can look back on their past season with satisfaction, having been the best in the qualification group. Due to their successes, however, Ried have lost striker Kingstone Mutandwa and head coach Maximilian Senft.
In Ried, Mario Despotovic has been appointed as head coach, a previously unknown quantity in the position.
