The first round of the new ADMIRAL Bundesliga season concludes with the match between SK Rapid and SCR Altach. The Vorarlbergers will be guests in western Vienna on Sunday (from 19:00 in the LIVE ticker >>>).
Rapid finished last season in fifth place overall and achieved the minimum goal of an "international starting spot" through the national European Cup play-off.
In the ÖFB Cup, they prevailed 0:3 against Wienerberg, and also advanced one round in the Conference League qualifiers.
After two tricky years fighting relegation, SCR Altach did not have to fear relegation until the end of the season. In the end, they finished ninth in the table. The highlight of last season was their successes in the ÖFB Cup. They only bowed out in the final against double winners LASK.
