Salzburg Deal Off the Table? Leipzig in Talks with CL Participant
The centre-back was linked with a loan move to Salzburg. Now, a permanent departure from Leipzig is reportedly on the cards.
According to a report from France, RB Leipzig had considered loaning El Chadaille Bitshiabu to FC Red Bull Salzburg.

This option was already dismissed as mere speculation by "Sky" on Monday. Instead, the Saxons are reportedly aiming for a sale. According to "Sky", Galatasaray has now approached RB Leipzig to entice the centre-back to Istanbul.
As transfer expert Florian Plettenberg reports, the Champions League participant is pushing for the signing of the 21-year-old Frenchman. Both parties are already in advanced talks. RB Leipzig expects a swift agreement.
However, the reigning Turkish champions are also reportedly considering another candidate for the vacant centre-back position, Yusuf Akcicek. Bitshiabu is under contract with RB Leipzig until 2029.
