On the final day of the transfer window, Werder Bremen is close to completing a double transfer.

Moussa Ndiaye from RSC Anderlecht is set to join for the left-back position. The 24-year-old was on loan at Schalke last season and was one of the best left-backs in the 2. Bundesliga.

According to "DeichStube", the Senegalese player and the second new arrival are already in Bremen for their medical checks. It is a loan deal with an option to buy.

Second New Signing from Leverkusen

For the right-back position, Arthur (23) comes from Leverkusen. After the "Werkself"'s record signing of Guéla Doué for around 37.5 million euros, Leverkusen wanted to loan out the Brazilian.

This deal does not include an option to buy. The two full-backs would play in the back four with defensive leader Marco Friedl.

The two new signings could become important – as Werder Bremen was far from solid in their league opener against Freiburg. They suffered a clear 1-4 defeat.
