1. FSV Mainz 05 is once again sending midfielder Hyun-seok Hong out on loan.

After his loan spell in France, the South Korean is now heading to Denmark to FC Midtjylland. There, the 27-year-old midfielder can also look forward to appearances in the UEFA Conference League.

The 16-time South Korean international is still under contract with Mainz until 2028. For LASK, Hong made a total of 44 competitive appearances between 2021 and 2022, contributing one goal and ten assists.

His former club also made a move in the transfer market on Wednesday >>>

Sporting director Niko Bungert explains: "Hyun-seok showed extreme commitment and was in top physical condition during pre-season with us, but we couldn't offer him prospects of playing time due to the very high-class competition. That's why we agreed to the loan transfer to FC Midtjylland. We wish him that he gets the desired games there with his club's participation in the league, the cup, and the Conference League, and can once again play his way into the spotlight."
